A graphic from the York Group paper "Improvement of DNA and RNA Sugar Pucker Profiles from Semiempirical Quantum Methods" has been featured on the April cover of the Journal of Chemical Theory and Computation.
About the Cover:
"The conformation of five-membered sugar rings in nucleic acids has important implications on structure and dynamics. Potential energy surfaces for DNA and RNA sugar ring puckering have been determined using high-level quantum chemistry calculations that can be used to improve models used in molecular simulations and combined quantum mechanical/molecular mechanical calculations. See York, D. et al. J. Chem. Theory Comput., 2014, 10 (4), 1538–1545."
